So I bought a book from a third party seller on October 17th (I know, I was stupid) and they “shipped” it on October 18th (they claim). The amazon website, and USPS actually say they shipped it on October 24th.
So I’ve been trying to find out what’s going on with amazon. Amazon keeps hemming and hawwing. They blame me, they blame the Hurricane, they blame everything but the seller.
So I bought the ebook. I got to read part of it (it was a 2 books for 1 special.). I told them today that if they bought and shipped me the paperback, and refunded me the money for the ebook, I’d square everything. I wouldn’t blog about them, I wouldn’t even buy from them anymore–I’ll buy from eBay and B&N
So what do they do tonight? They *delete* my book and then refund me the money but never said anything about what they were going to do about the paperback.
Her name is Courtney, she is an “executive assistant” to Jeff Bezos, told me at 2:30pm that she’d get back to me “shortly”.
Not. a. peep.
So I’m calling out amazon now and will continue to do so until I get answers.
