Last word (I hope) on #amazonfail

I emailed amazon and told them I’m done.

It’s November 3rd. 17 actual days since I ordered the item (counting Sunday to Sunday) and 12 business (M-F but I had to count today with it) as well as 14 days (Mon-Sat) since they supposedly shipped it out.  The seller claims it was shipped on October 18th and it’s set for delivery no later than Nov. 8th

The problem is both amazon and the USPS show..well hell..here…from their sites (and yes, I do have pictures to back this up).

From amazon itself:
Date                        Time                    Location                      Event Details

October 24, 2012   —                          US                   Shipment has left seller facility and is in transit to carrier
From USPS:
The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on October 24, 2012 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later.
So if the USPS was not notified until October 24th to expect it for delivery. why would they say it was shipped out on October 18th?
Basically, Courtney T. Kniert of Executive Customer Relations lost a customer by her refusal to read what I was saying and actually work with me. Instead she wanted to get potshots in and little digs here and there. Courtney would rather blame a hurricane than admit that amazon and the USPS’ tracking is flawed.

Over all, I will NEVER by from amazon again. I will go to Barnes and Noble or ebay from this point forward.
