Okay, so people want to know *why*i want to ban guns and more gun control.
I was 13 or 14. I had moved in with my father after he got custody of me (my mom abused me from ages birth to 9 ) and he wanted to teach me how to shoot so he could take me hunting.
Well, everything was going great. He taught me how to load the shotgun, he taught me how to unload it, to put the safety on, etc.
Unfortunately, one time I forgot to do all that..I had the gun open to put the next piece of ammo in, apparently having already put one in. I think he was talking to me, and she was talking to me–and well, when more then 1 person is talking to me I get distracted and confused.
Next thing I know a loud BOOM goes off, and apparently my stepmom almost got shot.
So naturally, my father (who gave me a burn mark because i carried a riding mower wrong) pulls out his hand gun and points it at me, cocks it..and then she does the same.
I didn’t get shot but since then I’ve hated guns and I want gun control to the point of banning them.
