Rather then separate them all, I wanted to give you an idea of why gun owners are evil. It’s PERFECTLY okay for them to like the idea of owning assault rifles, and other such items..but it’s not okay for me to express my opinion that it is wrong. I am an ‘embarrasment’ to the trans, furry and brony communities for doing so–you know for expressing peace, love and tolerance. And transgenders aren’t mentioned in the bill of rights. Ummm..okay? He’s right, they’re not in the first 10, but:
All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
They are mentioned, indirectly in the Amendments.
What started this all was this simple tweet:
Now if that doesn’t sound like a death threat, I don’t know what is. That started the backlash towards me, tonight. Now twitter has suspended my account before, but it does NOTHING against actual threatening or harassing tweets. So what I’ve started to do is one by one report these tweets to twitter. If they do nothing, I’m closing my personal account.
This is ridiculous. Because I don’t like the idea of owning a gun except for military and police, I’m an embarrassment, I’m a bitch, I’m a freak, etc. I’ve been called worse.
And what’s to stop one of these gun owners from trying to shoot me just for experiencing my opinion. This is why gunowners are evil.
There is an odd hypocrisy going around the gun control/2nd amendment “movement.” I am personally a strict Constitutionalist, and while I can’t say I understand completely how you feel, I can say that I receive a ton of harassment/scrutiny for what I believe as well. I think it does more harm than good for people to be so gung-ho’ about one amendment while not standing for the others. I believe that it is beautiful for people to be able to express their thoughts, emotions, and feelings freely. That is what America is all about!
With that said, I would like to let you know that we are not all like that, and you also have to understand that the government infiltrates a lot of liberty centered groups and such… not because they believe as we do, but so they can create discord and bad publicity on social networks/media outlets.
I am a peace loving person who wants nothing more than to live in a world without war, pain, and suffering, but unfortunately, this isn’t reality, so I continue to own weapons in order to protect my family and possessions. I feel it is my duty to do so.
Thanks for sharing your views; please continue to do so. As a strict Constitutionalist, I like the 1st amendment just as much as the 2nd. I wish everyone else did too. Please consider reader my post below for a better understanding of why the 2nd amendment is important to us all.
